An awesome new opportunity for a fast developing and very well respected financial modeling consultancy has recently become available as an accounting and tax specialist. This role is a fantastic opportunity to develop your tax skills and make that move into industry.
You will be reviewing financial models prepared by other firms to ensure compliance with IFRS and UK GAAP, UK Tax legislation and current HMRC practices. You will also be reviewing audit working papers prepared by the Operis analytical team, working with expert financial modelers, explaining potentially complicated accounting and tax principles to ensure that they understand and accurately apply these to calculations.
A successful candidate will be ACA qualified, obtained in IFRS with broad work experience and commercial awareness, CTA qualified would be an advantage but not mandatory. You must also be an effective communicator who can explain ideas and concepts to non-accounting or non-tax qualified colleagues and clients.
