This is a fantastic opportunity to join a FTSE 50 organization which encompasses many household brands. Our client is looking for an Associate Tax Director to join their Group Tax team based in Dublin. This team is responsible for tax planning, tax support to the Irish business, tax risk management and reporting.
Reporting to the Head of Tax, your main accountabilities will be to:
* Create a high performing Irish tax team, ensuring interaction with other Group Tax teams
* Membership of Global Planning Team which has specific accountability to identify and implement pro-active value creating tax planning opportunities
* Managing senior Irish stakeholders, in particular around tax compliance, statutory reporting and forecasting
* People performance management for the Irish team.
Requirements:
* Ideally ACA and/or CTA qualified with significant international tax planning experience in a multinational (preferred) or a tax advisory firm.
* Experience of leading teams and coaching for high performance
* Experience of negotiation with Revenue authorities
* Awareness of the external environment in relation to tax issues
* You must also be an excellent team player and leader, as you will be responsible for leading the team
