PwC's Transfer Pricing (TP) team provides advice to companies on managing their international tax liabilities relating to their cross-border transactions with related parties. Our TP practice is currently seeking an Associate to provide economic and financial analysis, technical report writing, and research support to the team.
Your role:
You will complete analyses under the supervision of a manager, including industry overviews and comparable analyses of various companies. This position assists in data collection, analysis, and writing of background documents, including short memos and drafting of transfer pricing documentation for clients. Data research will be prepared using both publicly accessible and firm-specific databases and other computer based tools.
We are seeking candidates with:
В· Strong research, writing, and quantitative analytical skills
В· Minimum 2 years work experience within a professional services firm environment
В· The ability to synthesize industry information and company facts (such as financial statements), and have strong written and verbal communications skills (comfortable presenting work and ideas to others)
В· The ability to gather and analyze data for various markets, industries and company/client operations
В· Excellent computer skills; including proficiency in Word and Excel
В· A CA or other accounting/professional designation or an undergraduate degree, preferably with a demonstrated interest in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
В· Motivation and desire to learn about transfer pricing and to provide excellent customer service to the clients we serve
В· Evidence of prior work experience demonstrating the application of your skills and talents
В· Prior transfer pricing experience is an asset but not required
