An interim maternity cover has arisen within this large and dynamic financial services institution, primarily focused on executive compensation and benefits taxation for the employees.
An interesting and varied role, allowing the successful applicant a long duration of time spent with the client, where impact in this area of tax will be felt.
Working with the senior HR Managers of the organisation, the individual will act as the first point of contact for compensation and tax related matters and therefore will need to be able to explain complex compensation and tax issues to individuals around the business. Assisting in the operation and administration of various compensation plans and also implementing and planning new programmes in compensation and reward will be the foundations of the role, as will effective liaison with HMRC and complying with their requirements to minimise tax risk.
Due to the duration of the role, the successful applicant will be able to manage major projects such as a PAYE audit and overseeing employer compliance.
From the interim nature of this role, it is required that the successful applicant has substantial experience in PAYE/NIC consulting, expatriate taxation and compensation planning.
