A leading mid-tier firm situated in the heart of Central London, requires a driven and ambitious VAT Senior to join its Indirect Tax division. This position aims to develop the successful candidate's advisory skills by assisting in a wide range of projects and sectors.
Reporting to the Senior Manager/Director with contact with the Partner, the key responsibilities are as follows:
- Providing general support to clients in the provision of VAT advice
- Producing high quality VAT advice accurately whilst responding quickly to client demands and deadlines
- Participating in business development opportunities and working with partners to promote the firms VAT expertise
- Regularly attending meetings and where appropriate answering client queries
- Supporting managers on VAT planning and other ad hoc projects
- Mitigating risks by involvement of senior people and ensuring appropriate advice is provided when necessary
