This leading US listed pharmaceutical organisation is recruiting for an EMEA Tax Manager to join their Corporate Tax team based in their European headquarters in Switzerland.
Reporting to the European Tax Director, your key responsibilities will include:
* Regular contact with international tax and accounting personnel located locally, in the US or in the region;
* Prepare analyses and develops and presents arguments to defend company tax position on difficult tax audit issues;
* Conduct reviews of various foreign tax returns and reporting requirements with emphasis on complex tax returns;
* Provide tax and tax accounting support to international locations, including tax audit coordination and tax planning;
* Conduct tax research and analysis on complex projects as assigned to assess the effect of the tax law on company's operations and recommend appropriate course of action;
* Coordinate transfer pricing documentation for the region; and
* Identify and implement tax saving projects.
Key requirements include:
* University degree or equivalent in finance, accounting, or economics
* Extensive experience in tax ideally gained in a Big 4 or commercial environment. A combination of public accounting and in-house experience is preferred.
* Knowledge of US GAAP is a strong advantage.
