Major international group are looking to expand their tax department and wish to recruit an Employment and Expat Tax Manager. In this newly created role you will have responsibility for all employment and expatriate tax matters across the European region.
Specifically, you will be required to:
* Act as the primary interface between the company and HMRC in dealing with employment tax matters
* Advise on key employment tax risk areas.
* Identify wider employment tax issues for the European region and provide recommendations for change.
* Manage the employment tax compliance process
* Ensure expatriate tax matters are dealt with efficiently
* Build relationships with key internal stakeholders and external advisers
You will be ACA or CTA qualified with significant employment tax experience either gained in house or within a major professional firm. Ideally you will also have good expatriate tax knowledge and experience. You will be able to think strategically and act proactively and have the ability to communicate key issues to senior management and stakeholders.
