The Role:_
As a result of continued investment into our head office function we have identified a need to recruit a senior tax and treasury professional to join the team. This is a new role that has been identified as a result of the challenges faced by a business that is expanding rapidly. Reporting into the Group CFO, key responsibilities will include:
В• Oversight and development of the tax and treasury capability
В• Management of relationships with external advisors in order to extract maximum value
В• Responsibility for all aspects of the GroupВ’s Tax affairs including planning, advisory, compliance and tax reporting
В• Due diligence, tax structuring and post deal integration in respect of acquisitions
В• All relevant tax planning and reporting in regards to the requirements for a potential IPO
В• Management of the forex position and interpreting advice from financial advisors and interest rate swaps exposures.
В• Responsible for the cash management process
В• Group treasury reporting, including liaison with the banking partners of the business
В• Assistance with re-financing initiatives
В• Ensure that best practice is adopted in respect of treasury risk management procedures and PLC compliance
The Person:
You will likely by an ACA/CTA qualified tax professional (or equivalent) from a Big 4 background and, ideally, some in-house experience. In addition you will possess the following characteristics:
В• International tax experience along with some exposure to treasury issues
В• Strong technical skills with the ability to identify and implement tax structuring opportunities
В• Highly analytical with strong Excel skills
В• Confident, assertive and articulate approach with a high degree of commercial awareness
В• Effective communicator with an ability to forge strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business
В• Strong negotiator, computer literate and capable of project management
В• Ability to work under pressure to demanding deadlines imposed by project timescales or tax authority requirements
В• Capable of developing this role independently in a pro-active way and of working effectively across different teams.
The Package:
ВЈ80-ВЈ100,000 plus bonus and excellent benefits.
