The Company:
I am currently working closely with a large multi-national organisation with an opportunity for an Internal Audit Manager to join their team inAmsterdam. The company are very well known and have experienced growth despite the economic downturn, as a result of their expansion into emerging markets, and their increased European market share.

The role:
As Audit manager you will ensure preparation, execution and reporting of audits and investigations across the companies international locations. You will conduct these audits within agreed timescales and in line with audit policies and operating procedures as decided by the Department Head of Internal Audit. Your role will also involve:
* Provide independent verification and assurance to the Board of Management on the development and execution of global audit ser-vices
* You will assess quality and monitor compliance with business objectives, financial and management reporting, policies and procedures, risk management and internal controls.
* Advise management on fraud prevention and ensure fraud is investigated and disclosed.
* Offer a valuable career training ground for more junior staff to develop into a skilled and flexible management resource for the company.
The requirements:
* University degree in a relevant discipline
* A minimum of 6 years experience in Audit, Ideally 4 years in a top ten firm followed by 2 years in Internal audit.
* MUST be fully qualified with a recognised accountancy qualification eg. RA, ACA, ACCA, CPA (or equivalent for other countries)
* Good knowledge of Sap and ERP
* Previous experience of Managing/Supervising Staff
* At least 1 year of experience in an Audit Manager/Assistant Manager role
* Fluency in English 1 other language as a minimum
