Our client is a Big 4 firm whose FS tax practice provides advisory, transactions and compliance services to a variety of clients in the Financial Services market ranging from some of the world's largest multinational institutions, corporations and funds.
The Role:
The firm has a dedicated R&D tax offering within the financial services tax group. This is currently a very busy area within financial services tax. The successful candidate with be work closely with the Director group and play a key role in delivering R&D tax services to a range of financial services clients. In addition you will have the following responsibilities:
? Build and maintain relationships with clients and provide high levels of client service
? Win work by proactively managing existing clients and contribute to winning new clients.
? Manage the successful delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and practical/business driven approach taken
The Person:
You will be an accomplished tax professional with detailed FS industry knowledge and specific R&D tax experience.
In addition you will possess the following attributes:
? Ensure delivery of quality work and take day to day leadership of delivery team
? Strong business developer
? Negotiation skills, able to sustain opinion and handle challenges
? Team player with ability to create, sustain and lead effective teams
? Experience of coaching and developing more junior staff
? Client driven with strong strategic and commercial awareness
? Excellent communicator in a range of situations both written and oral
