The principal responsibility of this role will be to provide an efficient and robust compliance environment, including the preparation and maintenance of accounting provision information and group tax reporting.
Additionally the incumbent must be prepared to be involved with, and gain an understanding of the all aspects of business tax and assist in identifying and managing risk through process control and reconciliation. The role will involve significant interface with members of the broader finance team, and liaison with auditors and the UKВ’s group US parent on tax reporting matters.
Suitable candidates will:
Be a qualified tax professional.
Have an accounting background, and experience of producing tax provisions and statutory disclosures.
Have experience in using Alphatax.
Have the confidence to communicate effectively and build relationships with colleagues and auditors.
Have an interest in developing expertise in all tax related matters applying across the UK and other jurisdictions in which the business operates.
