Responsibilities of the role include developing and maintaining tax relationships internally with members of the organisation and externally with clients. You will also be proactive and creative in identifying opportunities and acquiring new business as well as managing the successful delivery of tax projects.
Relevant VAT experience is required for the role and experience working with clients in the financial services sector is desirable but not essential. Exceptional communication skills, the capacity to recognise areas of risk and problem solving are also integral aspects of the role. While ACA, CA or CTA certifications are not essential should you have any of these qualifications (or the equivalent) you will be at a distinct advantage.
