This instantly recognisable brand is seeking a tax manager to join their in-house tax team in a varied role. You will be responsible for a wide range of tax issues including aspects of corporate tax, employee tax and VAT. The company's international business is expanding so you Will gain excellent global exposure.
The Role
- Responsible for ensuring the group's compliance with UK corporation tax obligations
- Communicating with HMRC on a range of issues including management of disputes and litigation
- Helping to ensure that robust processes and controls are maintained in respect of UK tax compliance
- Contributing to the management of the Group's tax financial reporting obligations.
- Monitoring and managing tax risks in the overseas group.
- Actively managing the implementation of approved tax strategies.
- Advise on the tax impact of specific business transactions including M&A, overseas expansion, etc.
Qualifications/Experience
- ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent
- Good knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation
- Exposure to other areas of tax beneficial, e.g. VAT, employee
- Excellent communication and team-work skills
