Our client is a top ranked software solutions provider in the finance software sector, operating in North America and across the EMEA region. They offer a range of solutions to the corporate market for financial reporting and consolidation, as well as a high specification tax reporting solution.
Due to continued success and resulting growth of the business in Europe, they are now seeking a high calibre Tax or Tax Systems Consultant for a business development / technical Pre-Sales opportunity within their Netherlands operation. This is a client facing role, and will be conducting meetings and advising tax professionals within existing and prospective customers on the functionality /specifications of a tax accounting solution. This role will be involved with product demonstrations, supporting the sales team on more complex proposals, and liaising with marketing and IT development on product functionality.
You will be tax trained, preferably with a professional qualification, and with foundational experience in corporate income taxes. In addition, you will be at a strong advantage for this role with hands-on tax accounting experience under US or local Gaap / IFRS consolidations, or with the preparation of tax accounts within the general ledger. In addition, you will have some experience of working with (as a user or otherwise) tax software products and/or financial software systems (e.g. Hyperion / SAP / Excel VBA programs) and will have a good understanding and genuine interest in this area. In addition, your communication and presentation skills will be strong, and very able to explain complex scenarios in simple terms. Flexibility to travel will also be an advantage.
