Luxury opportunity for an indirect tax accountant to join a high end fashion and accessories retailer as they add to their VAT function with a brand new hire of a VAT Manager.
This is a newly created role due to growth and success creating demand for a new VAT accountant to ensure that the European Group is compliant with its VAT obligations. This includes liaising and coordinating with the UK and EU VAT and Tax tams to ensure the business is compliant and provides a professional advisory service.
You will also participate in complex group projects. Fashion, supply chain and the expansion into new markets is ever changing and you will be a key point of contact, coordinating and managing all matters and advices in relation to VAT for the UK and EU.
The ideal candidate will have VAT experience from a Big 4 firm or other FMCG/ Bluechip organisation. This is the ideal move from someone just qualifying from a big 4 firm as we are looking to invest in someone long term career with us. As fashion and retail are a commercial and client facing environment you should also have the interpersonal skills to interact with clients and colleagues in a busy and pressured environment..
You will be ACA and/or CTA qualified and have a proven track record with VAT.
